Have you ever seen a sick jam band go hard with a saxophone?

Have you ever felt the bass of an EDM drop?

Have you ever been to a rave?

Well, you’re about to.

The Show

Since the moment Ali and I started dating in 2015, music has been one of the most important parts of our relationship. Back then, we used to ride around in my 2007 Kia Rio and blast Krewella, American Football, Tiesto, and Aesop Rock through my two 8in subwoofers. Long drives, a playlist, and each other is all we needed to be happy. Today, that still holds true. Last year while in Rhode Island, we discovered a record store. I asked the shopkeep for something local that needs some attention. He goes “You like stoner/prog rock?” Now, anyone who knows me can easily guess my answer to this. A fat “yes”. He introduced me to Elder, an epic prog metal band with long tracks that take you through an adrenaline rushed saga with fluid chug-like riffs.

The entire time we were in Rhode Island, we were jamming to Elder. Discussing the similarities to other bands and the intricacies that seperated them from everyone else. In these moments, we bond and grow. We spend time properly communicating and learning how it is that each other feels about the same topic. We learn each others processes and mechanics behind our individual thoughts/opinions during these conversations. In short, we get to know each other better, even after 11 years we constantly find out new things about each other. It’s really a beautiful thing, to be able to communicate with the one you love without ambiguity. We have always practiced this with music.

That being said, we wanted to share our love of music with our favorite people and show eveyone how it is that we throw down. We wanted to put on a full blown concert, with a stacked lineup, on a Saturday night, just like we do every other weekend. Music is important to us, so the chance to share our passion is an honor and a dream come true. Through careful planning, shady deals, side quests boosting repuation in the local music scene, being followed on Instagram by Boogie T, using the worst bathrooms at the boofest of venues, and a LOT of persuasion skill checks, I have assembled three of the sickest artists in Michigan to put on a show for us. Candid Antics, Hypnoasis, and SCRWNY.

So join us for a night of jams, bangers, and unrivaled musical talent.

But most importantly, remember:

Peace, Love, and Wubs.
